History of yoga

History of yoga

Before we get started, I would like to introduce the short history of yoga. In my opinion, I think it’s very interesting to know this.

Yoga, originally from the Indian Sanskrit "yug" or "yuj", and it means unity, union, and harmony. As we know, yoga originates from ancient India, which is one of the six philosophical schools in ancient India and explores the principle and method of "the unity of the Brahman. So,  people call yoga is mainly a series of cultivation methods.

Around 300 BC, the yoga greatest master of India created the yoga sutra. Because of this point, the yoga system is gradually developed even increased so fast. Moreover, yoga is a system that helps humans reach their full potential by raising awareness.

Yoga postures use ancient and easy to master skills, improve people's physical, psychological, emotional, and mental ability. Yoga is a kind of body and mind harmony with the spirit of sports, including the body of the asana, pranayama breathing, heart meditation, and so on. People could through those actions to realize the unity of body and mind.

Furthermore, yoga is a 5000-year-old exercise in physical, psychological, and spiritual practices that originated in Indian. As I said before, yoga is designed to improve your body and mind. It will bring a different feeling and enjoyable for you.

By The way, there are two main types of yoga: one is classical yoga, one is modern yoga.
However, I have to tell you this when you start to do yoga! Yoga is like any other exercise; it can be harmful to the body when it is not practiced properly. Also, it is necessary to practice yoga under the guidance of a professional.

Following is the important thing that we should pay attention to it. As a practitioner, we should always follow the natural rules of yoga practice step by step instead of comparing with others. For example, many people want to obtain good flexibility at the beginning, so they spend a lot of to force themselves to practice yoga. Or someone sees other practitioners or coach can do better than their more stretch or more difficult action, they will be eager to do that as soon as possible.  So often because of worry and hurt their joints and muscles, exercise effect will be counterproductive.

In the end, I wish you can be positive, and relax. Trust yourself that you are the best! Because try your best is the best!
